Logitrans Romania ensures the oversized transport of an AS 365 N3 helicopter from Romania to Portugal
Logitrans Romania, a company specialized in oversized transport, has successfully completed a large-scale project by ensuring the transport of a large AS 365 N3 helicopter, in partnership with Regional Air Services – “Alexandru Podgoreanu” International Airport, a pioneer of private aviation in Romania.
The operation involved the transport of the disassembled helicopter, measuring 13.6 x 2.4 x 3.4 meters (L x W x H), on the route Tuzla, Constanța – São Domingos de Rana, Portugal. Classified as an oversized load due to its height, the project required detailed logistical planning and strict safety measures.
The helicopter was transported on a specialized trailer, and its handling was carried out with the help of a crane, ensuring precise loading and unloading. The Logitrans Romania Special Transport Department managed every stage of the process—from securing and fastening the components to prevent movement during transport, to continuous monitoring and constant communication with the client.
