Logitrans Romania: 2024 Retrospective – A Year of Complex and Strategic Logistics Projects

Logitrans Romania concludes 2024 with an impressive series of logistics projects, strengthening its position as a strategic partner for specialized and oversized transport at international level. From exhibitions and medical equipment to industrial components and infrastructure, the company coordinated essential deliveries that supported the development of large-scale initiatives.

Transport for International Exhibitions and Events

Logitrans coordinated the transport of materials for Romania’s university stand, organized by the National Council of Rectors at the annual Conference and Exhibition of the European Association for International Education (EAIE), held in Toulouse, France. This contribution enabled Romanian universities to participate in one of the most important educational events in Europe.

Essential Contributions to the Medical Sector

A significant segment of 2024 activities consisted of transporting medical equipment and furnishings. Key projects included:
Transporting three truckloads of hospital beds from Halifax to medical facilities in Romania;
Organizing an air freight shipment from Beijing to deliver an X-ray radiology unit to a Romanian hospital;
Delivering medical furniture and equipment to various medical institutions and care centers.

Strategic Projects for Infrastructure and Industry

Logitrans România served as a trusted logistics partner for major infrastructure and industrial developments, such as:

Installing climate control systems at a military base in Romania;
Transporting climate control equipment for the Bucharest Aquapark Complex; Complexul Aquapark din București;
Cooling towers for factories and supplying 635 tons of coke-coal;
Transporting electrical components for the construction of a mall in Iași, and ventilation systems for Mall Electroputere Craiova and Mall Pitești;
Electrical cables for the A7 motorway;
Industrial equipment for the heavy industry sector in Turkey, delivered throughout the year;
Basalt wool for the construction of a residential housing district in Italy.

Logistics Solutions for Green Energy and Sustainable Mobility

Logitrans Romania also played an important role in environmentally oriented projects, ensuring the transport of:

21 truckloads of galvanized steel components for building a photovoltaic park;
Chairlift components for a project in Vatra Dornei;
50 electric minibuses for improving public transportation, loaded in Slovenia and Belgium and delivered to Romania.

Special and Oversized Transports

The company’s expertise in oversized transport stood out through projects such as:

Returning a helicopter from Portugal after completing a naval assignment;
Transporting escalators for an airport;
Seven truckloads of industrial equipment for the food industry in Greece;
A cooling tower delivered for a hospital in Romania.

From transporting tennis balls for the Davis Cup to organizing the shipment of an Indian art cast from India to France for an exhibition, Logitrans Romania demonstrated flexibility and strong adaptability to the diverse requirements of its clients.
